Australian Lions working with the Turkish Community

To complement the work Australian Lions have been doing in the community raising awareness of diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, a new initiative has commenced. Lions in partnership with the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and the North West Division of General Practitioners have successfully translated the Lions Eye Health Program (LEHP-Australia) materials into Turkish and are working closely with the community by providing public awareness and diabetic retinopathy eye examinations.
