Optometrists Association Australia is the peak professional body representing the interests of 96 per cent of Australian optometrists.

Optometrists Association Australia performs a number of key functions, including the representation of optometrists to a wide range of government and industry bodies, the provision of exclusive member services, the development of promotional activities aimed at increasing public awareness of the importance of eye health and providing assistance and advice to members on the daily operation of their practices.

The association strives to work collaboratively with a wide range of community organisations on projects that promote preventative eye and vision care to the greater public.
